So the first thing to say about this Air Fryer is, yes, it's kind of a generic Chinese branded unit. I don't know who came up with the name, but maybe they should have realised some of the connotations of having a name like VPCok. I suppose maybe they were trying to go for VP Cook, maybe. And maybe they got it wrong. I don't know. But anyway, who cares about the name? This is a relatively cheap air fryer. You can usually find it on Amazon for somewhere around 50 to 70 us. But of course that will vary depending on whenever you actually look at this review. But yes, for the price, this is a very solid air fryer. The thing that you need to be aware of, though, is it's only 3.7 quarts. So it's not the largest air fryer. You know, it's on the medium to smaller size of air fryers. But personally, for me, at this price point, I would rather go for something like this, because I found that most of the time when you go for a cheap air fryer that's large, they usually don't have the cooking performance because they're not able to put the required hardware in the air fryer for it to have the intense cooking performance you would expect from an air fryer. Of course, air fryers have taken over from the deep fat fryer. They were invented to take over from the deep fat fryer. So they're supposed to have a fairly aggressive crisping nature, which I found some of the other cheap air fryers don't have. But this one it does have. I tested the cooking performance alongside my Philips air fryer, which is obviously a lot more expensive. And I found that this worked really well alongside it. It was a very comparable experience in terms of the cooking performance. Also, I think for the price, this is a pretty well designed air fryer. I have reviewed some other cheap airfryers where they've had sticky drawers, where they look really plastic-fantastic, and things like that. But this one, although it doesn't really look anything amazing, is a solid effort for the price that you are paying. So, for example, yes, I mean, it can be open and close pretty easily.
